The Cloud and Enterprises

The use of cloud resources is widespread in our personal lives by now. There’s a decent chance that the cloud is going to be part of the future in our professional lives as well.

Companies who embraced the cloud early on, or were even “born in the cloud”, are able to leverage elastic cloud resources that scale with their business needs — not the other way around. Let alone unlock new business through economic experimentation or the use of novel cloud technologies.

For traditional enterprises, the cloud offers a once-in-a-generation opportunity (and epic transformation programme of the same magnitude) to redefine the capabilities of modern corporate technology.

However, migrating a business to the cloud is hard, even harder for highly regulated businesses. Especially, when striving for a seamless integration into the existing corporate ecosystem.
